My name is Ryan Waggoner. I have previously worked as the Photo Editor at The University Daily Kansan, an award winning newspaper with a daily circulation of over 12,000. In December 2010, I left the Kansan to take the position of Collections Photographer at the Spencer Museum of Art. Personally, I enjoy shooting a variety of different subjects: sports, portraits, feature, and social documentary to name a few. I have a B.F.A. in Photography from The University of Kansas.
I decided a long time ago that work should be something that you enjoy, not just a way to make a living. This has become an idea that I live by, and will always live by.
